Welcome to the Florida Workers' Compensation Joint Underwriting Association (FWCJUA) website.

The FWCJUA was created during the 1993 legislative session to provide workers' compensation insurance in the State of Florida to Employers who are required by law to maintain such insurance and who are in good faith entitled to, but who are unable to, purchase such insurance through the voluntary market.

In order to obtain workers' compensation insurance with the FWCJUA, Employers are required to utilize the professional services of a licensed insurance producer that has been authorized to submit applications to the FWCJUA. The FWCJUA has about 700  authorized Agencies with over 1,100 authorized Designated Producers located throughout the state of Florida.  No additional cost will be incurred by utilizing the services of an authorized Designated Producer.   Please follow this link Agency/Producer Locator to locate an authorized FWCJUA Agency and Designated Producer in your area.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

Effective December 31, 2009, all current FWCJUA Agency Producer Agreements shall terminate.  Therefore, it is imperative that all currently authorized licensed or registered Agencies submitting business for consideration to the FWCJUA enter into the Revised Agency Producer Agreement prior to January 1, 2010, if they wish to continue their relationship with the FWCJUA.  Please note:  due to the procedural changes with the revised Agency Producer Agreement, the Agency Producer Agreement Online Renewal Process is no longer applicable nor available on our website.  To review a redline copy of the revised Agency Producer Agreement identifying the changes in the Agreement, follow this link, Redline Copy of the Agency Producer Agreement
